My name is Lisa
I am a mother to two beautiful children (and 3 dogs!), a wife, and a nursing professor. Amidst all the roles I play, you might wonder, “Why add fitness coaching to the mix?”
As a young girl, I had always been athletic and competitive. I poured my heart and soul into becoming a skilled swimmer, training tirelessly to reach my goals. But as adulthood crept in, finding balance became an elusive challenge. I found myself caught in the vicious cycle of yo-yo dieting, constantly viewing food as my enemy and exercise as a form of punishment.


It was during my pregnancies that I experienced a profound wake-up call. The weight gain, the postpartum struggles, and the constant fatigue made me realize that I needed to make a change. I yearned to rediscover the strength and vibrancy that once defined me.
Determined to reclaim my athletic spirit, I made the decision to step back into the world of fitness. I returned to the gym, but I felt a bit lost. I needed guidance and direction. That's when I was blessed with the presence of a coach who would forever change my life.
Under my coach's caring and compassionate guidance, I learned about the power of progressive overload, proper form, and nourishing my body for my goals. These invaluable lessons transformed the way I saw fitness and food. The negative mindset I had developed over the years slowly began to fade away, replaced by a newfound love for my journey of self-improvement.
It wasn't just about the physical changes I experienced, although they far surpassed anything I had achieved through restrictive diets and endless cardio. What truly captivated me was the realization that fitness was a reminder of my inner strength, my unwavering capability, and my innate confidence as a woman.
I reveled in my newfound power. I marveled at how my stronger body allowed me to keep up with my energetic children, ensuring that I never missed out on the precious moments of their lives. I understood the significance of building a foundation of strong bones and muscles that would serve me well as I gracefully aged.
But the transformation didn't stop there. I discovered the joy of savoring life's simple pleasures without guilt or restriction. Going out with friends and indulging in delicious meals became a source of nourishment and pure delight, rather than a cause for anxiety.
As I continued on my journey, I realized that my purpose had shifted. I felt an overwhelming desire to share the life-changing lessons I had learned from my coaches. I wanted to be the guiding light for others who were longing for change, to help them transform their lives and build bodies they could feel proud of.

That’s when I made the courageous decision to become a coach myself. I wanted to provide a compassionate and relatable approach to fitness, helping my clients discover sustainable and enjoyable ways to achieve their goals. I knew that through my guidance, they could experience the same profound shift that had changed my life.
So here I am, ready to extend my caring hand to those seeking change. I want to be the coach who not only helps clients build physical strength but also nurtures their self-confidence and empowers them to embrace their own potential. Together, we will embark on a transformative journey, celebrating each milestone and reveling in the joy of progress.
