Common Queries

Will lifting weights make me look bulky?

I hear you, I see you, and I want you to know that lifting weights won't make you bulky. As women, we have a unique physiology that makes it difficult to pack on large amounts of muscle mass. So let go of those fears and let's dive into the incredible benefits of strength training

I've tried all of the diets and nothing works for me, how is your approach different?

Guess what, folks? Weight loss doesn't have to mean bidding farewell to your favorite foods!  In fact, finding a sustainable and balanced approach that includes occasional indulgences can actually help you stay on track long-term and maintain a healthy relationship with food.

Long-Term Success: Sustainability is key! If you feel restricted or miserable, it's tough to stick to any plan long-term. By including your favorite foods, you create a balanced approach that you can maintain for the long haul.

Can you just prescribe a meal plan for me to stick to?

Only registered and licensed dietitians can prescribe meal plans. Meal plans are not sustainable because they don't teach you how to be flexible in different situations. Instead, I can assist you in setting macro and calorie targets, provide nutrition tips and support, and help you develop eating habits that align with your goals.

Am I too old/young/overweight/thin to use your program?

Absolutely not! Strength training is beneficial for individuals of all ages and body types. It can help improve muscle strength, bone density, and overall functional fitness, regardless of your starting point. It's never too late to start, and with proper guidance, you can safely and effectively begin a strength training program that suits your needs and goals.

Do I need access to a gym?

No, you don't need a fully equipped gym. I will tailor a plan based on the equipment you have, whether it's bands or dumbbells. If you're unsure where to start, I can guide you in choosing basic equipment for effective home workouts. However, experienced lifters may require access to heavier equipment like barbells, larger dumbbells, and some machines for further progression.
